Anniversary of final Big Four Tournament passes quietly

Starting in 1970, the four Atlantic Coast Conference schools from North Carolina gathered in Greensboro for two days of games that didn't count in the league standings. It began as a pre-Christmas event but bounced around the calendar for the remainder of its 11-season run, finally ending up in early December.
