Wednesday, January 04, 2006

No. 25 North Carolina started out a little sloppy but quickly picked up the pace on defense to take an 82-58 win over senior-laden Davidson at the Smith Center on Tuesday. Freshman Tyler Hansbrough led all scorers with a career-high 23 points, connecting on 7-of-13 field goal attempts and converting 9-of-11 from the free throw line. (Inside Carolina)
