Tar Heel Defense Steps Up

There has been something unusual about North Carolina's defensive play in the first month of the season. It has been surprisingly good. It's a surprise because this Tar Heel team is so young. Now that's not to say Carolina is ready to shut down the San Antonio Spurs. But, this team has certainly shown it has the ability to be a better defensive team than anyone could have imagined. That includes Coach Roy Williams.
