Noel's foul trouble tested young Heels
Posted Jan 12, 2006
Could the Tar Heels get by without the typical solid game from their senior go-to guy? No one knew, because Noel hadn't given anyone a chance to find out. But on Tuesday, Noel was hampered by foul trouble. He played only 19 minutes. He grabbed just one rebound. He produced nary a block or a steal. And the Tar Heels still won, showcasing more depth than many people thought they had on their way to a 64-61 victory on the Hokies' home court.
