Johnson found love at College World Series
Posted Jun 14, 2008
Former North Carolina catcher Benji Johnson went to the past two College World Series seeking a national title. He instead received a much greater prize. Johnson met Air Force linguistics specialist Michaela Ammerman at Rosenblatt Stadium two years ago while warming up before the Tar Heels' College World Series game with Clemson. He proposed to her at the exact same spot one year later. They plan to get married Oct. 11 in Pittsboro, N.C.
