Tar Heel Wrestlers Fall At Virginia Friday

Missing regular starters in three different weight classes, the University of North Carolina wrestling team fell to Atlantic Coast Conference rival Virginia, 27-10, Friday at Memorial Gym. Carolina picked up three individual wins on the night, led by redshirt freshman Vincent Ramirez, who notched a 13-5 major decision over Peter Ferrara at 141 pounds. The Durham native is now 29-6 on the season, including a 14-1 mark in duals.
