LaToya Pringle accepts her role with UNC women's team

LaToya Pringle’s role at UNC is much brighter than it was at this time last year. She battled severe anemia, which symptoms include extreme fatigue and weakness, and saw limited playing time until the final weeks of the season. This year, she’s developed into one of coach Sylvia Hatchell’s top reserves, playing crucial minutes in big games when the Tar Heels coach wants to go with a taller lineup.
