Heels tough out win on road

Monday, February 13, 2006

The smile on Roy Williams' face late Sunday night wasn't going anywhere. Having just seen his Tar Heels grind out an 80-70 victory against Miami, Williams stood in a hallway 15 minutes after the game sipping a soft drink and beaming. "They're just so doggone tough," he said of his Tar Heels, who took the game away from the Hurricanes in the closing minutes when it could have gone the other way. (Charlotte Observer)
