Here's an interesting stat: Since the beginning of the ACC in the 1953-54 season, Carolina has been the league's winningest team in conference games only. The Tar Heels have won 71 percent of their ACC games during that period. And guess what? During that same stretch, 64 former Carolina players have appeared in NBA regular-season games.
