Homeland Security money to bolster security at Smith Center

Federal money earmarked for homeland security will pay for new video cameras at the Smith Center, home basketball court of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Tar Heels. The state will provide $50,000 from the Department of Homeland Security to bolster security at the 300,000-square-foot building, which can seat more than 20,000 people.
