Jessica Breland Survived Cancer to Thrive in the WNBA. Now She Runs a Spa Business

In 2009, Hodgkin’s lymphoma stole a season of college basketball at UNC from Jessica Breland. She recovered and played her way into the WNBA, but was out of the league within a year from the effects of the disease. Nonetheless, Breland worked her way back and became a WNBA All-Star. And the ups and downs were perfect preparation for owning a business.
