In transition: Noel knows all about making changes

Wednesday, March 01, 2006

Noel said his goal is to be able to support his mother, who works at Duke Hospitals, with whatever he does in the next stage of his life. Professional basketball is a possibility, although he won't be an NBA lottery pick like his pals, but the sport he spurned could re-enter the picture. "Right now, I feel like my basketball career is just getting started," he said. "So hopefully, I can take it to the next level. If not, then maybe football will be there one day."
