Big Test: Will Heels continue late surge?

As the ACC Tournament opens this afternoon, nobody can say for sure whether North Carolina and Duke just passed a historic milepost that will become evident to everybody else in a winter or two, but it sure smells that way. After the Tar Heels won at Duke 83-76 last Saturday night, the outcome and certain demographics suggested that Carolina could control the next extended phase of the perpetual scrimmage.
