Carolina Baseball Monday Notebook

Junior OF/DH Jay Cox continued to swing a hot bat last week to the tune of a .533 average (8-15). He hit his career-best fourth home run of the season Sunday and drove in three runs on the week. Cox had a pair of three-hit games on the week and tallied two hits Sunday for his team-best ninth multi-hit game of the season.
