After sleepwalking through the first half Friday, the Tar Heels came out to impose themselves in the second. Briefly, they did, turning a one-point halftime deficit into a quick three-point lead. You see this in the early rounds. A lower seed, such as the No. 14 Racers, will play with more emotion in the first half.
