Murray St. gets Tar Heels hearts racing Friday night

After sleepwalking through the first half Friday, the Tar Heels came out to impose themselves in the second. Briefly, they did, turning a one-point halftime deficit into a quick three-point lead. You see this in the early rounds. A lower seed, such as the No. 14 Racers, will play with more emotion in the first half. And in the second half, the favorites will remember why they are favored and the underdogs remember why they are not. Superior talent and depth prevail. (Charlotte Observer)
