The lead changed hands several times, and the Heels (23-7) didn't push ahead for good until freshman Tyler Hansbrough threw in a short jump-hook from the right baseline, foiling Murray State's zone defense, with 43.2 seconds left. "They understand the competitiveness you have to have," said Williams, who tied Dean Smith's NCAA record with his 17th straight first-round victory.
