Heels plan to build on solid foundation


It was supposed to be a team that would hold the fort until the arrival of UNC's top-ranked 2006-07 recruiting class. Instead, the Tar Heels built a foundation. By winning 23 games, going 8-2 on the road, beating top-ranked Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium and advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, UNC proved it will be a team to contend with next season -- and not just because of its six incoming freshmen.
