Carter Carries Nets to 12th Straight Win
Posted Apr 3, 2006
The New Jersey Nets squeaked into the playoffs last year largely on the efforts of Vince Carter, who was acquired in a midseason trade with Toronto. Carter has done his best lately to get the Nets back to the postseason, averaging 26 points in New Jersey's current 12-game winning streak. The veteran guard scored 33 of his 43 points in the second half to help the Nets overcome Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat 90-78 Sunday night.
